Things to Do

Go2Boa is situated in Mossel Bay's authentic small harbour and waterfront area. The area has become a bustling destination packed with activities and restaurants.

Facilities on the harbour wall include restaurants such as The Sea Gypsy Café, Kaai 4 Braai Restaurant, The London Bus and the Mossel Bay Oyster Bar. Additionally, the area is a departure point for many activities, such as shark cage diving, deep-sea fishing adventures, catamaran cruises, high-speed rubber duck excursions, and the yacht Romonza, which holds the permit for boat-based whale watching in Mossel Bay. The diving section has access to five local reefs, including a great shore-entry reef situated only 30 meters from the clubhouse.

Santos beach is next to the harbour and earned its prestigious Blue Flag status for its strict control of water quality, efforts at environmental education, sound environmental management, and safety record.

The beautiful views of the Indian Ocean or the Springbuck roaming on the course might distract you, but they will most definitely leave you with lasting memories.

Pinnacle Point Golf Estate, one of the top golf courses in South Africa, is a spectacular masterpiece and just 6 km away. The path takes about an hour and returns across another bridge just downstream. Watch out for cormorants and other birdlife around the river and estuary.

  • Beaches.

All along the Mossel Bay shore there are beaches sprinkled among the rocks. Even at the very Point of Cape Saint Blaize there is a sandy channel set between two rocky ridges that has long been treated by locals as the town swimming pool – known as the “Poort”.

Mossel Bay have five WESSA blue flag beaches. We are very proud and happy that Santos beach, De Bakke beach, Hartenbos beach, Glentana and Klein Brakrivier beach are all part of this prestigious group of beaches in South Africa.

The greater Mossel Bay is home to no less than sixty kilometres of long, sandy beaches as well as beach-going weather throughout the year.
